I am giving Tumblr one last chance. My posts have previously not gotten any traction. After escaping my abuser in February 2021, I moved back in with my mother for a month and attempted to start my life over but had not yet came out of denial of what i’ve been through with my abuser but with my parents due to being in survival mode. I was reminded of why I moved out of my mothers house when so was 19 and no longer felt safe to stay. It turns out I moved out right in time because she was in the middle of legal issues with her landlord. I then contacted an old coworker who offered me a place on their couch. I had two plans, to get a job (despite my mental health not being able to take it) and try to get approved for an apartment. I also have had a GoFundMe up in hopes that I make my goal and am able to get a room/an apartment through ‘Common Living’. This would be the best method for me as not only would I not have to worry about furnishing but I also don’t have to worry about my credit as they have a program that would help me through that. They have several properties across the United States but not in the state I am staying with friends. I’m currently staying on their couch and sharing a living room with someone else as well (in Texas). I can not go back to work right now as so much has been happening back to back since I left my abuser and I mentally can not handle it. There are still so many things I am recovering from that I do not speak of. This last half a year has been so overwhelming and I am asking that if you see this, please, help boost.
